We celebrated the 4th of July at the "Kabin" with family! It was hot and muggy, and of course, it had to rain for a little while!
Here is "Kir-Kha-Beth Kabin" built by my Great Grandfather in 1929!
It was named after family members, or versions of family members' names!
One of Gramma's favorite pastimes is finding lilies and lily pads in the lake!
Gramma is showing Sydney the proper techniques of lily pad hunting!
Ben is modeling one of the many uses of lily pads!
Dave and Ben went on a ride around the lake on the dingo. Or as Sydney calls it, the "Bingo"!
When it started raining, Syd felt the need to dance. (In the rain!)
As she got quite wet, she asked if she could put her swim suit on..... ...and then cousin Anna joined her!
We did a few little fireworks, poppers and of course, the growing snakes!!

I LOVE these pics! Even the ones of me aren't too bad! :) I especially love the one of Syd dancing in the rain - and the funny one of Ben wearing the lilypad hat!! Great memories!!
